Lynda Bunnell

Biographical Sketch

Bunnell, raised and based in Southern California, worked closely with Ra Uru Hu from 1999 until his death in 2011. She trained Human Design Analysts and Teachers world-wide, was among the first to teach Human Design online (2005), and re-introduced the Living Your Design Guide training program in 2006.

Ra named her Dean of the IHDS in 2006, and in June 2010 (eight months before his death) turned the school over to her completely — "entrusting her with his educational programs as well as maintaining the global standards for education within The Human Design System." She has continued in that role for over a decade.

She is the mother of two and grandmother of four; her business background (thirty-plus years before Human Design) provides the organizational competence that has stabilized the school post-Ra. The Definitive Book of Human Design is her principal published work; she has also authored the Living Your Design Student and Teacher Manuals used in IHDS training.

• Weaknesses. The orthodoxy can become defensive against legitimate critique. The system's founding mythology (Ra's 1987 transmission) is a real epistemic vulnerability that Bunnell-lineage practitioners cannot easily address.
